Hello everybody, I have been entrusted to search for an Italian immigrant who worked for some time between 1958 and 1960 in a Manchester hotel as a waiter.

There are no records of him in British databases now, so it can be reasonably assumed that he returned to Italy. However, with no clear date and place of birth, tracking him is a daunting task.

Anybody could advise me on where I could look for traces of his presence in the UK. Do the National Insurance archives go far back as the 1960s?
