Immigration Records, Liverpool-New York, July 1833.

My gr-grandparents traveled on the ship AJAX, a packet ship from Liverpool to New York, arriving during the period after Castle Garden was closed and before Ellis Island opened. A barge in the river was used to process new immigrants during this time. They docked on July 25, 1833.

Does anyone know if there are records from this time period? I'm especially interested in the ship's record of passengers.
Any suggestion or clue would be appreciated.
