my husband grandfather was on the Brazos the arrival date is Oct 2 1918 his name is leopold wareham he was a waiter on the ship. it saids departure from San Juan, Puerto Rico..
He was born in Kingston Jamaica in 1881 He landed in New York.. But then got married to his wife Mary Hilda Jones in Nova Scotia in 1926 he was working on the S.S Prince Georoge as a porter.. Then I have him back in New York for his World War 2 Registration Draft card age 60 and it states he is working at the Commodore Hotel in 1942 He living at the same address as Helen Mondesire.. and On his marrage papers to Mary one of the witness is a favra's jules Mondesire.. Sooooooooooooo My Q is if he was born in Kingston Jamaica would he had come to New York from san juan, puerto rico.. Thank you for ready this mixed up message..
