Having read these posts I also need similar help on my great great Aunt who was deported back to Europe on the ship (ss St Louis) she arrived on in March 21 1908 from Southampton. Her child was apparently an imbecile as -Dr cert -imbecile - was marked on the ship manifest. She also had a Special Inquiry and LPC was quoted on the manifests. Her name was Chage Hospetter and Isaac was her son aged 4.
Seems she was deported about a week later. Her husband Barouch 's details were on the ship manifest as he was living in Rochester at the time. Chage and son lived with my great grandfather, Wolf in London for a year before she made her journey to NY. How can I get her file number for the SI???
Thanks for help. I can forward the docs or they are vsible on my tree. I will upload docs later as nearly midnight here.
Thanks,
Robyn
