Thank you for your response! I like your interpretation of inthusb, I was blank on that as well as the LPC until I had asked about that before.
I'll look up the film and take a peak. I've thought before and still think they convinced someone at Ellis Island that they were somehow married on the ship before they arrived. Jane might have gotten an idea about that from one of the other passengers as there is a 'Ginnie' on the manifest and my Aunt was named Mary Genevieve, NOT an Irish name. There is a church registration of their marriage in Boston in 1907, just two months before the birth of their second daughter. Thanks for the new nudge.
