My great grandfather's name was Henry George Thompson, born 17 FEB 1860 in London, England. He was a stowaway when he was 12 which would have been 1872-3. He was supposedly enrolled in a catholic boys school in Canada when he was found as a stowaway on the ship. He then ended up settling in Gladwin, Michigan, the earliest we have him here is his marriage to Arminda Gray on 26 NOV 1891. According to the censuses he came to the US in either 1880 or 1890. I have not been able to find anything on my searches of ship manifests.
