Albert Stieler, 59. Dies At Pearl St. Home
Albert Stieler, 59, was found dead in bed yesterday at his home at 655 N. Pearl St. by John Leonard, same address. Coroner J. Gregory Nealon said death was caused by a heart ailment and gave a verdict of death from natural causes.
Mr. Stieler is survived by his wife, Mrs. Catherine Kremmer Stieler; a daughter Miss I. Margaret Stieler, who works in the Knickerbocker News business office, and a son, Bert A. Stieler.
Funeral services are under the direction of Zwack and Sons.
For the past 20 years, Mr. Stieler had been a machinist for the Morgan Linen Company. He was a veteran of World War 2, having served as a chief ship's fitter in the Navy. He was a member of Joseph Fagan Post, American Legion and the International Machinists Union and was a past president of the Albany Sports Club.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Zwack and Sons Mortuary and at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Angels Church. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
