Surnames: Huntzinger / Hunsinger
Looking for Parents of George Hunsinger,age 66 when he died in 1798. Assuming he was born 1732, the closest I could come to any family connection was the arrival of Peter Huntzinger and wife Benedicta Welti in Philadelphia on 19 Sep 1738. The youngest of six was Johann Gorg,age 6. George Hunsinger was a member of the New Jersey Militia during the Revolution, lived and farmed in Gloucester County, NJ until his death. He had a son named Peter Hunsinger who also served in the Revolution. Upon arriving in the US, their destination is listed as Lancaster County, PA. Would anyone have information regarding this family? Any help at all would be appreciated.
