I do have a fair bit of information, but you know how it is, more is always appreciated! Also I'd like to verify what I have with someone else.
I'll start with Peter Dauge. b.~1692 d. 09 NOV 1778 Lt. Col. in 10th North Carolina Regt. in the Revolutionary War.
Married before 1727 to Susanah Tull.
Susanah Tull b.~1695 p. Currituck Co., NC Her father was Benjamin Tull, mother Susanah Tull.
Benjamin Tull willed land to his grandaughter Susanah Dauge, daughter of Peter Dauge and Susanah Tull.
Peter's father was James Jacque Dauge b.~1660 p.France, possibly Narbone, Languedoc Province. He captained a ship from Normandy in the early 1600's and recieved a grant for acreage in NC 20 OCT 1689. He was the Father of 9 (I do have their names and husbands for the women, will post if you want.)
James Jaque Dauge's father was Pier or Pierre Dauge, a Huguenot.
James Jacque was married to Mary Bonney, whose parents were Richard Bonney (1640-1708) and Mary Shipp.
James Jacque died APR 1719 Currituck Co., NC.
I have several alternate spellings for Dauge. James Jacque Dauge would be my husband's 9th Great Grandfather on his mother's side.
