Surnames: Cocke, Cottrell, Sheppard
I have just gotten into looking for Huguenots.....family has mentioned that there are Huguenots here in rRichmond, VA, situating the Huguenots out on the border between the establishment and the Indians......just verbal, no records.........found a number of ancestors came over from England later, around 1700.......Walter Cocke for example........just starting to look.....any advice.......what were the name changes here?..........Linda
