Help me please I have been in search of my Great Great Grandfather point of origin for 14 years now with no actual factual solid proof of anything relating to point of origin, port in or out, ship name. I have my Great Great Grandfathers son's death certificate (William McPhillips 1860 - 1932) that states that my Great Great Grandfather John McPhillips was born in Limerick, Ireland, and that was 21 years after my Great Great Grandftahers death in 1911. John McPhillips came to the U.S. in abt 1855 and settled in Waddams Grove, Stephenson Co., Illinois, getting married about 1857 and having three children, Mary McPhillips 1858 - 1947, William McPhillips 1860 - 1932, and James McPhillips 1864 - 1948. John McPhillips and his family show up on the 1860 U.S. Census, the 1870 U.S. Census, the 1900 U.S. Census and the 1910 U.S. Census. John McPhillips, and James McPhillips ended in Chicago, Illinois, where they both passed away 1911 and 1903 respectively, Simon McPhillips passed away in Jo Daviess Co., Illinois in 1922, and I don't have much information on Thomas McPhillips. I also Have a Bridget McPhillips living with John McPhillips until she passed away in 1907, I think that Bridget was James McPhillips' wife. I would appreciate any leads that anyone could share on this piece of my family tree. you can contact direct if you want at macbootig@aol.com

Thank You in advance
Respectfully Yours
Timothy McPhillips, Sr.
