lol Thank you! :)
The passenger list I posted earlier of Salvatore has to be his! Not sure if you saw it.. but the only way to prove it is to find his sibling Marco.. ? The surname "Dioguardi" is somewhat common throughout Italy, but checking the Italian White pages - telephone listings.. there are about 23 in Palermo. But these days.. it's hard to tell with cellphones everywhere.
Also, see if a Giuseppe of Joseph Dioguardi exists in New York..
Check all the other records on FamilySearch for Mezzojusto.. since now you have a variety of surnames. Since some were already passed on at the time of marriage, you may be able to find death records...
Mezzojuso Allegati (nati, pubblicazioni, matrimoni, morti) 1867-1877
You may be able to find something here... not sure.. such as "extracts' of vital records... there was an abundance of paper work that was required before anyone married..
If you are looking for a Greek passenger - on a passenger list.. I might be able to help.. as for Greek records, not my specialty though...
Thank you for your reply!
