LostQuays,

This is definitely a lot of information that you have provided. I appreciate and thank you for you help. The birth certificate that I have for Salvatore is the same format that you have for Giovanni, only Salvatore is dated 1879. It took me a while to piece that date together since I do not read Italian. Question, what should I look for on this document, since I am not fluent in Italian?

I can also definitely confirm that my great-grandmother is Anna Gebbia. The pieces fit. Since I cannot read Italian, is this just a basic marriage record/legal certificate from the 19th century Italy? This is the farthest I have gotten with help. I would like to figure out what the documents mean, as well.

When you are talking about Santo's and Caterina's parents, are they referenced in the marriage record? I can't see it on the document. You may have to explain this as well. Also, I am confused, Anna Gebbia's side has a Dioguardi name and Salvatore also has this name on both sides of the family. Or am I seeing double and confusing my self.

Do you have tips about Greece?

Thank you very much for you help!
