Everyone is invited this coming Saturday the 27th of October to “Spend An Afternoon with Mrs. Betty Wood Thomas”, columnist for the Sun Journal and the 6th Great Granddaughter of the Baron Christopher de Graffenried, the founder of New Bern.

Mrs. Thomas will be at the New Bern-Craven County Public Library for a Question & Answer Session about the Early Settlers of the area. There will also be short photo presentation of Bern and Worb, Switzerland from Mrs. Thomas’ private collection.
