Surnames: Lamet , Lammert,Lamert,Lammertsz,Lahmer,Lamer,Lambert.
In 1710 Johannes Lamet from Holland (Rotterdam) immigrated to New York together with 3000 Palatine refugees.He married to one of them:Elizabetha Vogel.In 1712,they got a son in Westcamp(Ulster) : Johannes Lammert (surname a bit changed, deliberately or by mistake?).He married in 1739 to Anna Sybilla Zufelt.
They got 5 children Lammert etc.etc.
Probably there are people of the surname:
"Lammert,Lamert,Lammertsz,Lahmer,Lamer,Lambert" today in the USA who are descendents from that couple.
In 1697 was born in Holland: Johannes Lamet, my ancestor.
Parents not to be found in Holland.Assumption in (very) short: Johannes Lamet the immigrant lost his first wife in Holland and is the father of Johannes Lammert born 1712 in New York as well as of Johannes Lamet (1697-1775) in Holland.Question:is it possible to find a today living descendent of Johannes Lammert / Anna Sybilla Zufelt ?
