Surnames: Merkil/Maracle, Mc/MacDonald, Bebbins, Hutchins
I'm looking for information on Jacob Merkil, believed to be the son of Richard (sp?) Merkil, born in Stone Arabia County, NY State in the mid-1700's. His daughter Jean (sometimes called Jane) married Donald McDonald (sometimes called Macdonnel/Mcdaniel). His will states he was living in Osnabruck in Upper Canada when he passed. Specifically looking for his burial records and/or information on his wife - or wives - so as you can see I have very sketchy information but am willing to dig if sent in the right directions.
