HI,

In that she came to the U.S. or Canada as an "indentured servant" or not, she would still be listed on a passenger list if one still exists and has not been lost.
Her occupation may have been listed as servant, domestic, spinster, or if at 9 years old, only marked as "child". It's hard to say. You might want to read about the British Home Children phenomenon - which did inc. children from not only England, but Scotland and Ireland as well.

Regarding passenger lists, these websites should help:

Canada - Immigration and Citizenship:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/022/022-908-e.html

Castle Garden 1830 through 1892 (NY):
http://www.castlegarden.org/

Ancestors on Board (current records cover 1890-1949); routes to US, Canada, Australia, India and South Africa, etc.:
http://www.ancestorsonboard.com/

The third one listed I think has a fee attached to it for viewing a full record.
Be sure to read their details.

Good luck,

Kathleen
