Can anyone tell me how to trace an individual whom would have come to the USA from Scotland as an Indentured Servant.

My great-grandmother Elizabeth GALLOWAY (1Sep1868-19Oct1937) came to the USA as an Indentured Servant. It is my understanding that her parent where unable to care for her and that at age 9 or 19 she came to the this continent. I do not know if she came to the USA or Canada.

I do know that she married William FARR from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada sometime around 1892/95. They settled in Buffalo, Erie Co., New York, USA. William was a bricklayer.
