Hi, I am tracing my family tree and need some help.

My Grandad, my mother's father, has the surname "Kuibida." He was born in L'vov in the Ukraine, and he had three sisters, Sonja Kuibida, Anne-Marie Kuibida and another whose name I do not have. His mother and father were killed during the War as far as I am aware. What happened to the other three sisters I do not know. My Grandfather came to the UK in 1945.

Whether my Great-Grandfather had any brothers I do not know either, so I am unsure whether the name Kuibida could have been continued aside from in my uncle's family. If anyone out there knows of a Kuibida family, or has the surname Kuibida please get in touch, I would love to chat/share information. Indeed, if anyone knows how to conduct a search for ancestry in the Ukraine and can offer me some tips that would be fantastic!
