Next step would be to look at books ... as an example:

Tepper, Michael, editor.
Passenger Arrivals at the Port of Baltimore, 1820-1834: From Customs Passenger Lists. Elizabeth P. Bentley, trans. Baltimore: Genealogical Pub. Co., 1982. xxiii, 768 p., ill.
Lists some 50,000 names.

There may also be another similar book for Philadelphia arrivals and NY area arrivals.

Your local public or university library should be able to
help you locate these type of books.
