Any search suggestions for finding BOWENs in passenger lists?

Classification: Query
Surnames: BOWEN
I am looking for a rather large family of BOWENs who came from Wales (Monmouthshire?) to Luzerne County, Pennsylvania between 1828-1832.

Parents: John (1780) & Martha (c.1777) BOWEN
Children: John (c.1803), Martha (c.1805), Margaret (c.1809), Benjamin (c.1813), Jehdiah (c.1817), Rebecca (c.1820), Mary A. (c.1825).

I think it might be a spelling or pronunciation issue as to why I can not find them in the index. For example: Bowens, Brown, Bown, Bowden, Bevan?, etc.

I have found some of their BOWEN relatives and some neighbors from Luzerne County who came over, but I can not find this particular family.

Any suggestions?
