Looking for the family of Esther Webb (married Benjamin Bemis 1825 in Maine) daughter of Unknown Webb (Father) and Unknown Switzer (Mother).
Family legend: Mr. Webb was a Spaniard in America and was wounded in a gun fight. He found refuge from his enemies with a Gypsy Family named Switzer. The daughter, Esther, nursed him back to health and they were married.
Esther is my 3rd great grandmother.
