Ginkgo Biloba Powder Extracts

CONTACT US NOW:

Company Name: Naturalin Bio-Resources Co Ltd.
ATTN: Miss.Tina
E-mail: tina@naturalinbio.com
Fax: 0086-731- 4834162
http://www.naturalinbio.com

Ginkgo Biloba Powder EXtracts
Ginkgo Biloba leaf is the best selling herbal product in the world. It is an extract from the green leaves of the Ginkgo tree which is native to Asia, however, is grown worldwide.
The active ingredients in the extract are the Ginkgoflavoneglycos, Bilobalide, and terpenelactones including ginkgolides A, B and C. In Asia, ginkgo tree extracts have been used for over 5,000 years to treat cardiovascular problems as well as lung disorders. Recently, American medical researchers have begun studying ginkgo. In fact, there currently over 3 dozen studies looking at the efects of ginkgo on the human body.
Ginkgo's most powerful effect is on the circulating system. Ginkgo flavenoids directly dilate the smallest segment of the circulating system, the micro-capillaries, which increase both blood circulation and oxygen levels in the brain as well as in other critical organ tissues. Ginkgo also prevents platelet aggregation or clumping inside the arterial walls. This increases arterial wall dtrength and flexibility and decreases the opportunity for the formation of arteriosclerostic plague. Since ginkgo increases oxygen flow to the brain and enhances the brains uptake and utilization of glucose it also is being reasearched for its role in the senility, forgetfullness, headaches and alzheimers disease and its role in improving alertness, memory and mental performance.
Related to circulatory improvement, German researchers have also been studying ginkgo as a treatment for atheroclerotic peripheral vascular disease. This disease impairs walking and ginkgo has been shown to help blood flow to the legs allowing people to walk further with far less pain.
Aside from these critical, high profile circulatory effects, ginkgo also increases the body's ability to produce the universal energy molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This can in turn, decrease fatigue and listlessness.
Finally, ginkgo is a highly important anti-oxidant shown to have a special affinity for scavanging the superoxide radicals. Due to its antioxidant role, ginkgo can increase cellular longeivity, protect against pulmonary disease, provide membrane stability, and support ocular strucular integrity (i.e. prevent maculos degeneration).
There are a variety of different Ginkgo Biloba raw materials available to manufacturers for use in brand name products. The raw materials chosen is a key in the effectiveness of the final product.
Ginkgo leaves should be hand picked to insure that the plant's terpene rich veins are not destroyed. Once harvested, the leaves need to be dried to an extract moisture level to maintain active constituent potencies. After drying the leaves must be stored in temperature and humidity controlled warehouses until the extraction process occurs. Following extraction, there should be a guaranteed potency of a minimum of 24% ginkgoflavonglycosides and 6% total terpenelactones.
Any ginkgo product that does not conform to these manufacturing controls and quality guidelines should be rejected for consumption.
Typical Ginkgo Biloba Extracts Specification:
Ginkgo Biloba Leaf P. E 24% Ginkgoflavoglycosides 6% Terpene Lactories (HPLC)
Ginkgo Biloba Leaf P. E 24%/6% (<5PPM)
Ginkgo Biloba Leaf P. E 24% 6% Ginkgolic Acid<1 ppm
Aloe Vera Powder Extracts

Aloe Vera Powder Extracts:

CONTACT US NOW:

Company Name: Naturalin Bio-Resources Co Ltd.
ATTN: Miss.Tina
E-mail: tina@naturalinbio.com
Fax: 0086-731- 4834162
http://www.naturalinbio.com

Aloe Vera Powder Extracts:

Aloe, native to Africa, is also known as "lily of the desert", the "plant of immortality", and the "medicine plant". The name was derived from the Arabic alloeh meaning "bitter" because of the bitter liquid found in the leaves. In 1500 B.C. Egyptians recorded use of the herbal plant in treating burns, infections and parasites.
There are over 500 species of aloe growing in climates worldwide. Ancient Greeks, Arabs and Spaniards have used the plant throughout the millennia. African hunters still rub the gel on their bodies to reduce perspiration and their scent.
Extensive research since the 1930's has shown that the clear gel has a dramatic ability to heal wounds, ulcers and burns by putting a protective coating on the affected areas and speeding up the healing rate.
The plant is about 96% water. The rest of it contains active ingredients including essential oil, amino acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes and glycoproteins. Modern healers have used it since the 1930's. Many liquid health treatments are made, some combining aloe juice with other plants and herbs. The juice is soothing to digestive tract irritations, such as colitis and peptic ulcers.
As a food supplement, aloe is said to facilitate digestion, aid in blood and lymphatic circulation, as well as kidney, liver and gall bladder functions.
Aloe contains at least three anti-inflammatory fatty acids that are helpful for the stomach, small intestine and colon. It naturally alkalizes digestive juices to prevent overacidity - a common cause of indigestion. It helps cleanse the digestive tract by exerting a soothing, balancing effect.
A newly discovered compound in aloe, acemannan, is currently being studied for its ability to strengthen the bodies natural resistance. Studies have shown acemannan to boost T-lymphocyte cells that aid the immune system.
Those wise to the ways of aloe healing keep this plant in the kitchen. When the leaf is broken, its gel is placed on burns to relieve pain and prevent blisters. Aloe may reduce inflammation, decrease swelling and redness, and accelerate wound healing.
Aloe can aid in keeping the skin supple, and has been used in the control of acne and eczema. It can relieve itching due to insect bites and allergies. Aloe's healing power come from increasing the availability of oxygen to the skin, and by increasing the synthesis and strength of tissue.
.
Bilberry Powder Extracts

 Bilberry Powder Extracts:

CONTACT US NOW:

Company Name: Naturalin Bio-Resources Co Ltd.
ATTN: Miss.tina
E-mail: tina@naturalinbio.com
Fax: 0086-731- 4834162
http://www.naturalinbio.com

Bilberry Powder Extracts:

Bilberry is a perennial, ornamental shrub that is commonly found in various climates in damp woodlands and moorlands. In the United States they are known as huckleberries, and there are over 100 species with similar names and fruit throughout the Europe, Asia and North America. The English call them whortleberries. The Scots know them as blaeberries. Bilberry has been used as a medicinal herb since the 16th century.

Bilberry is also used in connection with vascular and blood disorders and shows positive effects when treating varicose veins, thrombosis, and angina. Bilberry's fruit contains flavonoids and anthocyanin, which serve to prevent capillary fragility, thin the blood, and stimulate the release of vasodilators. Anthocyanin, a natural antioxidant, also lowers blood pressure, reduces clotting and improves blood supply to the nervous system. Bilberry also contains glucoquinine that has the ability to lower blood sugar.

The herb contains Vitamins A and C, providing antioxidant protection which can help prevent free radical damage to the eyes. Vitamin A is required for sharp vision, while Vitamin C helps form collagen and is needed for growth and repair of tissue cells and blood vessels. Anthocyanosides support and protect collagen structures in the blood vessels of the eyes, assuring strong, healthy capillaries that carry vital nutrients to eye muscles and nerves.

Bilberry has long been a remedy for poor vision and "night blindness." Clinical tests confirm that given orally it improves visual accuracy in healthy people, and can help those with eye diseases such as pigmentosa, retinitis, glaucoma, and myopia. During World War II, British Royal Air Force pilots ate Bilberry preserves before night missions as an aid to night vision. Bilberry works by improving the microcirculation and regeneration of retinal purple, a substance required for good eyesight.

Dried Bilberry fruit and Bilberry tea has been used as a treatment for diarrhea and as a relief for nausea and indigestion. Bilberry is also used as a treatment for mild inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat.

Typical Extracts Specification:
Product Name: Bilberry Extract,
Latin Name: Vaccinium vitis-ideea L
Specification: 10% 15% 25% Anthocyanidins (UV-VIS) 5:1 10:1 20:1
Part Used: Berries, leaves
Common Use: Bilberry contains nutrients needed to protect eyes from eyestrain or fatigue, and can improve circulation to the eyes. Bilberry tea is administered to treat stomach problems and soothe the digestive tract. The leaves and berries are used in the homeopathic treatment of diabetes. Bilberries are used in making jams, preserves, liqueurs, and wines.
Care: Prefers filtered shade and moist, fertile soil that is acidic and non calcareous.

CONTACT US NOW:

Company Name: Naturalin Bio-Resources Co Ltd.
ATTN: Miss.tina
E-mail: tina@naturalinbio.com
Fax: 0086-731- 4834162
http://www.naturalinbio.com

Garlic Powder Extracts

Though it is best know as a culinary herb and vampire retardant, the medicinal benefits and claims for garlic have awarded it the name "Wonder Drug among all herbs".

Modern day research helps explain the broad applications of this "miracle" herb. Garlic bulbs contain the amino acid allicin. When crushed, allicin is released. This chemical element is the component that gives Garlic its strong odor and is responsible for the powerful pharmacological properties of the plant. One medium clove of Garlic can equal the antibacterial action equivalent to 1% penicillin.

Garlic also contains about 0.5% of a volatile oil that is composed of sulfur-containing compounds. Garlic's sulfur compounds, in addition to Selenium and Vitamins A and C containing compounds, make it a potent antioxidant, protecting cell membranes and DNA from damage and disease.

Although Garlic directly attacks bacteria and viruses, it also stimulates the body's natural defenses against foreign invaders. Garlic is reported to be more effective than penicillin against typhus disease, and works well against strep, staph bacteria, and the organisms responsible for cholera, dysentery and enteritis.

It is generally regarded as a preventative measure for colds, flu and other infectious diseases. Furthermore, scientific studies have shown that garlic stimulates the production of the liver's own detoxifying enzymes which neutralize carcinogens and other environmental toxins. It has also been used to rid the body of intestinal parasites and to treat digestive infections.

Researchers have been studying the anti-cancer properties of Garlic since the 1940's. It appears that the herb may prevent cells from turning cancerous by enhancing the body's mechanisms for removing toxic substances. Garlic's phytochemicals are believed to enhance immunity and the National Cancer Institute (January 1992) reported that people who ate the greatest amount of onions and garlic had the lowest incidence of stomach cancer. Other types of cancer have also been reported as lower.

Furthermore, garlic increases the activity of white blood cells and T-helper cells (natural killer cells), the cells that are central to the activity of the entire immune system.

Garlic supplements can improve many of the processes that can lead to cardiovascular disease. Garlic has been used as a blood thinner and anticoagulant to resolve blood clots and improve circulation. It has been shown to lower cholesterol while increasing the level of beneficial HDLs (high-density lipoproteins), the so-called good cholesterol.

Garlic has no side effects like those associated with cholesterol lowering drugs. (Take garlic for at least two or three months, as often in the first month or two cholesterol may actually slightly rise.) In addition, garlic compounds gently lower blood pressure by slowing the production of the body's own blood pressure raising hormones. At least seventeen clinical trials have shown that mild hypertension can be effectively managed with garlic.

Garlic has great value as a long-term dietary supplement, helping to maintain healthy circulation, balance blood sugar and pressure, reduce fat levels in the blood, and improve resistance to infection. It can be taken with conventional antibiotics to support their action and ward off side effects.

Garlic has also been used in treating upper respiratory infections (especially bronchitis), late-onset diabetes, urinary infections, acne, asthma, sinusitis, arthritis, and ulcers.

Garlic Extracts Specification:
Product Name: Garlic Extract,
Typical Specification: 1% 2% Allicin (HPLC) 200:1 100:1
Part Used: Bulb or as odorless tablets.
Common Use: Good for virtually any disease or infection. Improves circulation, maintains healthy cholesterol and blood pressure levels. A natural antibiotic and immune system stimulant.
Care: A perennial bulb that grows in warm climates worldwide. Prefers rich soil and full sun.

CONTACT US NOW:

Company Name: Naturalin Bio-Resources Co Ltd.
ATTN: Miss.Tina
E-mail: tina@naturalinbio.com
Fax: 0086-731- 4834162
http://www.naturalinbio.com
fu tea

Fu Tea (Poria Cocos) Brick Introduction
------------ Reduce Blood Fat and High Blood Pressure

China has the history of “curing diseases with tea”, there are many records about curing diabetes, dysentery, cold-catch with old tea among the people in ancient China. Modern western medicine thinks that polyphenols, pigments, polysaccharides, saponins, amino acids, alkaloids, and inorganic elements in tea have health care function to human body. Tea is a kind of special beverage that can strengthen the immunity of Hunan body. Tea is a kind of special beverage that can strengthen the immunity of hunan body, resist oxidization and aging, prevent cancer, reduce blood fat and cholesterol, adjust metabolism, so tea has been generally acknowledged as healthy beverage in the 21st century in tea and medical science circles all over the world.

The main functional composition of Fu Tea Brick (One of Dark Teas) is tea polysaccharides compound. This kind of compound is regarded in medical science circle that it can adjust sugar metabolism (prevent and cure diabetes), reduce blood fat and high blood pressure, resist thrombasis and improve immunity of human body. Clinical experiments have proved that these special functions of dark tea are remarkable, which can’t be replaced by other kings of tea.

Owing to the metabolism of Eurotium Cristatum, Fu brick Tea produces many enzymes and small-molecule metabolic substances which can promote digestion, reduce blood fat, adjust and improve the functions of human body. Although modern science still can’t analyze it’s chemical composition and action mechanism, the history of several hundred of drinking the tea in China is enough to show that Fu brick tea has special effect on promoting digestion, resolving fat and improving metabolism. So it is called as “The mysterious Tea on the Ancient silk Road of China”.
Motherwort extract

The ancient Romans and Greeks believed that Motherwort treated all matters of the heart from lovesickness to cardiac arrest (hence the botanical name roughly translated to Lion's Heart).
There is little evidence that Motherwort or Heartwort as it is often called, has any beneficial effect on heart disease although there may be recent Chinese studies that show an indication that this herb may have some ability to relax cells and therefore the heart cells too.
The plant grows wild all over Europe and Asia and all of the plant is harvested and used.
It is used for: sedative, insomania, anxiety, diaphoretic, irritability.
Leourine: Encourages uterine contractions. Assists in childbirth. Pregnant women should not take this substance as it could induce labor. It is not an aid to fertility, in fact the tendency to contract the uterus may have a slight contraceptive effect.
Iridoids. Iridoids are the most bitter compound found in plants. These bitter compounds stimulate release of bile flow in the gut as well as stimulating digestive secretion. Iridoids are anti-inflammatory (not as strong as in other constituents, iridoids have some anti-inflammatory effects but should not be used purely for this purpose), hypotensive and febrifuge. Some iridoids are laxative and antimicrobial.
Diterpenes: A bitter tasting terpenoid used widely as a stomachic. Diterpenes are believed to help with hypertension and respiratory tract complaints such as catarrh bronchitis and colds. Some diterpenes are believed to have tumour inhibitor properties as well as a stimulating effect on the immune system.
Flavonoids: Flavonoids occur (as white and yellow plant pigments found almost as commonly as chlorophyll) as Glycosides or in a free state. In plants it is essential for protecting plant tissue from UV radiation and acts as antioxidants. As pigments it is also responsible for Autumn colors in leaves and yellow/red pigmentation in flowers.
Laboratory experiments have been conducted on the beneficiary effect of Flavonoids on the heart and circulatory system. Flavonoids are also used to mitigate stress, especially environmental stress. Flavonoids are often used for their antioxidant effect against free radicals. There are also strong indications that they have antiviral, anti-inflammatory and anti-hypertensive properties but dosage has not been determined which will obviously have a profound effect on their efficacy as a component of this herb.
Typical Extracts Specification:
Product Name: motherwort extract
Typical Specification: 10:1 20:1 4% iridoids
Part Used: whole herb
Care: Keep in sandy soil that is well drained. Potted plants need filtered sun or full shade
CONTACT US NOW:

Company Name: Naturalin Bio-Resources Co Ltd.
ATTN: Miss.Tina
E-mail: tina@naturalinbio.com
Fax: 0086-731- 4834162
http://www.naturalinbio.com

The positive effects on human health can be attributed to the high level of phenolic compounds present in olive oil, the major ones being oleuropein, hydroxytyrosol and tyrosol. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of oleuropein on enzymes involved in specific pathways of metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids.
In particular, the effects of oleuropein on enzymes, such as trypsin, pepsin, lipase, glycerol dehydrogenase, glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, and glycerokinase, were investigated.
Results demonstrate that oleuropein is able to activate pepsin and shows an inhibitory effect toward all the other enzymes tested, which suggests a new role for this polyphenol. In addition, a new method for lipase activity assay is presented

It also functions as an antioxidant, working to help protect your body's healthy cells from the damaging effects of free radical molecules.

Oleuropein from olive leaves supports healthy blood pressure and cholesteron levels that are already within the normal range.
father and son, allopathic doctors...or is it just the son who was a doctor?

Lewis D. Collins resided in Alabama, probably Morgan Co., in 1830. in 1832 he had twin sons by his wife Cynthia. the sons were named Francis Lee and Louis Davis. Lewis and Cynthia also had a daughter Mary, a son James Alfred and possibly a son William J.

Lewis brought his family to Houston, Texas in 1837. he died before 1850, and little is known about him. his sons went different directions, Francis headed out west to farm in the Sacramento valley of California. Louis went on to become a doctor. by then he was living in Madison Co., Texas.
I know that he was much more than a doctor, having been postmaster, raised his deceased sister's children, married and raised a family of his own, and been a delegate to both the state and congressional conventions, and probably much more.

his wife's name was Sarah J. __________, b. abt 1836, Mississippi. they had 8 children, Frances, Margaret Ann, Louisa, James M., Charlie, Bettie, Willie and Katie. of these I know Margaret m. Nathan Bullock and Katie m. William L. Davis.

I would love to add any information that can be found on either Louis or Lewis, their ancestors or descendants.

Have not been able to retrieve school records on ancestor, Thomas C. Walsh, M.D., who graduated from Albany Medical College, but have found reference to his graduating there from his obituary. If anyone else can help, Thomas was born and raised in Syracuse, New York (6/28/1855) and died 9/25/1922. He married twice, to Mary J. Visgar and to Hattie Hubbard. With Mary he had 3 children, one of whom also became a physician, Thomas E. Walsh, M.D. With Hattie he had one daughter, Ida D. Walsh. I have been searching for Thomas's parents info for years (Timothy Walsh and Catherine Comerford Walsh). Any links out there?

Linnie Audrey PERKINS was born in 1879 in Cass County, Missouri. In 1900 she was working as a nurse in a doctor's office in Pueblo, Colorado. I have a photograph of her in nurse's uniform with a symbol or a logo on the paper frame, but there is no other indication of what nursing school she attended. Does anyone have any idea of where she might have received her nurses training at that time and in that general area.

Has anyone found another way of searching for an ancestor who had been an MD? I've written to medical schools in the area of Lee Co, AL where my greatgrandfather, James Madison Allen, MD, lived in 1870-1879, his widow, Eleanor G Williams Allen, still lived in the area in 1880. At one time, this area was Macon Co.; Dr. Allen had been married to Caroline O Burford in the 1860 census with several children and lived near his parents, James and Elizabeth Allen, farmers. James and Eleanor's children were Zula Allen Mason, b1869,d1897; Charles and Edith. Thank you.

this is a bit later than 1830, but it's worth a shot...
looking for Dr. Collins, given name unknown, b. Nov 24, 1832? twin? to my great, great grandfather, Francis lee Collins.
what little we know comes from family stories and a bio. can someone help me find this man?

from "History of the San Francisco Bay Region, 1924"
the bio. of Francis Thomas Collins.......His father, Francis L. Collins, was born in Alabama , and when fourteen (I believe he was 19, and the math (53-32) would make him 21) years of ag e came around the Horn in 1853, nearly starving to death on the trip. He landed at Port Hartf ord, and became a pioneer cattleman, driving cattle through the valley to Stockton to suppl y meat for the mining district. The father of Francis L.
I am researching the Bodine surname in Northumberland and spotted Charles Bodie. Thinking it was a typo or misreading, I sent for the estate papers. The writing is very clear. It was Dr. Charles Henry Bodie, not a relative, but the estate papers included an inventory which gives insight into the life of a frontier doctor. I would be happy to share with anyone researching early American medicine.
Joan Best

I am looking for any descendants of the above (or any information about him).

He was born in Ohio c.1853, the son of the Revd Daniel Steele (birthplace Tyrone, Ireland) who migrated to the USA with his wife Mary Anderson.

I understand he graduated from the Chicago Medical School in 1873, and subsequently became a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, and in 1895 was President of "Chicago Hospital". He is said to have produced many academic works related to his profession (but I can't find any reference to them through Internet searches).

I wish to find descendants, or anything which would add to my biographical information about him. Being a seemingly prominent medico, hopefully there is further record of his life.

I am descended from a sister of his father's.

Does anyone know anything .. or have any ideas which might help point me in the right direction?

My gg grandfather, Daniel McCall GRIFFING, was a doctor in Copiah Co, MS by 1845. I would like to know where he went to medical school. He was born in the SW part of MS, so I am assuming that if there was a med. school in MS he went to it. One of my ancestors went to Tulane's Med. School in New Orleans, but I don't know when it was started. Does anyone know when Tulane's Med. School was started? Would like to hear from those of you researching med. schools. Please E-mail me: proctorcarole@hotmail.com.
