My son aged 23 was borne with birth mark on his left cheek extending well upto his chin and left half of his lower lip. It does extend upto left half of his neck too. at the time of his birth the mark was of light pink colour and we noticed on the second day of his birth. slowly slowly its colour changed and it turned to cherry red. Earlier the surface of his face where the mark appears used to be smooth like his skin on any where else on the face but for the last 2-3 years it has become slightly thick and raised above the normal level. Its difficult to controll the bleeding if he happens to get a cut while shaving. I dont know with what name as per the medical term I should call it. I am looking for a suitable treatment of the affected part. Would be thankful if you could throw some light on this. I would be more than happy to suppply you all the informations that you would like to have for this case.
