Essential Tremors

One side of my family has five generations with tremors, including what is called essential tremors. I would be interested in finding any studies concerning tremors? Other information would be great also? The primary surnames for this side are Day, Anstess, Goodrich and Farnsworth.

On a different side of my family is the Bradford line which goes back to William Bradford. We have letters for Joseph Bradford born 1771 and in those his daughter writes that she is having a difficult time writing because her hands are shaking. She would have been in twenties. I am interested in whether someone researching tremors might be able to use this information?

I am particularly interested in any families that have been documented for this. I would like to read articles related to genealogy concerning this or view family trees where this may have been noted. I would also be interested in DNA research on this?
