My family surname is O'LAUGHLIN. My grandfather had prostate cancer and died from it. That is where the definite data begins.
My O'Laughlin grandfather's only 2 sons (my father and his brother) both had it and died from it in the same year.
Now both of my only 2 brothers have been diagnosed with it several years ago - late 50s to early 60s in age.
Obviously it is genetically inherited in my family. None of the families with whom our male O'Ls married into had prostate cancer. ANY OTHER O'LAUGHLINS, O'LOUGHLINS, O'LOGHLINS out there who have it to this extent? O'Ls from County Clare, Ireland
