Doctor Patrick Meehan

Surnames: Meehan & McCormick
Trying to find any info whatever on my wifes family ancestor, all we know is that Patrick Meehan was born in Sligo (possibly the village of Tourlestraune) about 1885. His mother was Mary (nee McCormack). Patrick travelled on the ship Carmania 16 April 1908 going to Chicago and gave his nearest relative as Mick Meehan. We believe he became a Doctor in America at some point and he died on board a ship whilst returning to Ireland at some point. Can anyone help ? Hopefully - Joe McIntee Laughlin.
