Surnames: Jackson Hildyard
I have (new to me) information re the marriage of URSULA HILDYARD to RICHARD JACKSON of Killingswold Grove, East Riding, Yorkshire, in the year 1596. These are direct ancestors of mine. Appended to the information is a supposed documented direct ancestry of Ursula's back through Piers Gaveston to Edward I and ultimately to William the Conqueror. Should I trust this lineage or is it likely to be fabricated?
