Surnames: Ker, Rutherford,
My gg-grandfather, Adam KER, (1809-1879) was born near Hawick, a border town in Scotland. He and wife, Margaret (1808-1877) nee RUTHERFORD, emigrated to Canada in 1832. I have no more information about their Scottish ancestors, and would dearly love to learn how to search for them, or any information others have.
