Thanks for your response. I first decided to purchase a program called GenoPro which has alot of areas to enter data but the chart is limited. Also it does not really have a good handle on: military service, other religious ceremonies - it does baptism real well - but no place to put confirmation, holy communion etc..
Overall I give it a B
Then I broke down and purchased (on-line) Family Tree Maker - which has not arrived yet - so I don't have any details or thoughts yet.
I am glad you found something for free because this has cost me about $100 in software.
Good luck with all the ins and outs. My father was very active in geneology and tracked down lots of data and certificates etc...He made the best charts I have ever seen - unfortunately he did it all on a Mac computer and Mac does not continue to support most of it's older software and I am struggling to get info transfered to PC and charts remade - UGH...
I have determined that Mac programs are definately for the birds....
