Surnames: Kerlegan, Kerlagon, Holmes
I am searching for information on the following
Louis D. Kerlegan (Kerlagon. Kerlegand DeKerlegand) married Mary Holmes (Homs) in Nelson Co. Ky in 1801. The kerlegan family came from France via Santa Dom escaping slave revolt, to Baltimore and then to Ky, and then to Missouri. I have traced the line to South Louisiana earlyb1800s with some stating in Missouri. Any help would be appreciated.
