Hello Jamie,
thank you very much for the data. A cousin of my mother, his name is Rudolf Reinhardt and he is living in Francop near Hamburg, gave me a family chronicle 1932 to 1957, written by his parents and grandparents. His grandfather Hinrich Ficken (born 1883) sometimes wrote about his relatives in USA and Canada.
So he wrote on Jan 1, 1955: "Our relatives, the old Hueners, USA, have had their golden wedding in February (1954)"!
Hinrich Fickens parents were Adolf Johann Hinrich Ficken, born Riepe 1837, died Fintel, and Engel Maria Boesch Ficken, born Helvesiek 1852, died Fintel.
I guess the Hueners were Ficken or Boesch relatives!
John Hueners and his daughter Minnie Holmes are mentioned most often in the chronicle.
