Engeltje is the Dutch equivalent name of Angela, from the word "angel". England comes from the name Anglia, which came from "angel". One of the Roman emperors (I forget which) decided that some English captives they had "looked like angels" and that is how England got its name. So, I would, based on context, assume the phrase means something like "from away in England". Have you found anything more since making your post? I'm trying to work my way through Dutch records myself and would like to know.
