I have tried different ways of spelling Essey, on the mormon website there were quite a few Essey's listed but not the one I am looking for. I have also checked on the Scottish website Scotland's people and no luck on there either.
William was married in Sydney, Australia and unfortunately on his marriage cert he has not listed the place of birth or his parents names etc - the only info I have is on his daughters birth cert he has listed Scotland as his place of birth.
I have heard through the family that he was from Glasgow.
