I can give you some info. on the Baron's birthplace, or rather on where it wasn't! He was not born in Ireland. That is a mistake on the website where details of the 1841 UK Census were wrongly transcribed. If you look at the actual Census paper, you will see that the column for 'Foreign Parts' as birthplace was filled in, not the column for Ireland.
I've written to them to correct it.
The Baron and some of his family did move to Ireland for a few years, around 1845. He is listed as a language teacher in a commercial directory for Cork city. One of his sons, Albert stayed and married there, later living in Waterford. He is the root of the Irish family, including my grt-grandmother.
