I just wanted to let you know that the home didn't burn down and in fact is still standing, my mother actually was born there and was adopted also and later in life moved in next to the home. it has been renovated and has been bought by Johnson and Whales University. My mother spent a long time researching her past and trying to find her birth mother. I have continued her search in a way, see mother past this past may due to cancer. Im just now trying to find something or someone if thats possible. good luck in all your endeavors.
