FERCHE (not FEICHE nor PERCHE)!

Posted: 2 Sep 2006 8:20PM GMT
Classification: Query
Surnames: FERCHE, PERCHE, FEICHE
Our ancestor Max FERCHE was b. 1858 Germany; arrvd NY 21 Mar 1892, single. His death cert states he died 30 Apr 1903 in Pueblo, though the obit in PUEBLO CHIEFTAIN spelled the surname FEICHE. He is bur. Roselawn Cemetery in 1891 Historical Sect. Block 57/Lot 209, though originally was listed as Max PERCHE. Questions: Is Max (looks like FRISCH) on June 1900 Pueblo census the same person? He is shown there w/wife Matilda (b. France Nov 1873 & her parents place of b. Germany) and daugter Marian b. July 1899, Colorado. Did this couple have more children before 1903, & what became of wife & daughter? (I'm suspecting the citizenship data/years for Max on census is incorrect). This is a "dead end" for me...any/all help will be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thank you.
