Thomas E. Dolan, 80, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away March 17, 2006. He was born December 8, 1925 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Thomas and Lillian (Moynihan) Dolan. Thomas was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a Licensed Electrical Contractor in Maine, Massachusetts and New Jersey, he was a field superintendent from 1949 – 1970. He was an N E T A Certified Electrical Engineer and was in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Thomas was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Punta Gorda, The American Legion Post 76, The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, The Punta Gorda Civic Association and a former member of the United State Power Squadron and The International Association of Electrical Inspectors.
Thomas will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Madeline Bisson Dolan.; daughters, Maureen (Richard) Borland of Arizona, Jean (Thomas) Opsut of North Port; grandchildren, Jennifer Opsut Courtney of Sarasota, Kimberly Borland Pineda of Arizona, and Sean Borland of California, and 2 great-grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by is son Thomas Jr., and grandson Thomas Opsut.
A celebration of Thomas’s life will be Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Sacred Heart Church,
