Texas -- Adela Nierdieck Teichelman, 87, of Sagerton, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2007, at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM on Monday, December 17, 2007, at
Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton with Reverend Curtis
Baker and grandson
Mickey Nierdieck officiating. Burial will follow at
Highland Memorial Cemetery in
Stamford Texas directed by
Tankersley Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 16, 2007 at the funeral home.
Adela was born on May 15, 1920 in
Caldwell,
Texas to
Clemmens and Emma Bredthauer. She married Herbert Nierdieck on March 21, 1941. Herbert passed away on April 3, 1983. She married Eugene Teichelman on June 19, 1992. Adela was a member of
Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton TX. She enjoyed and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved life and lived it to its fullest.
She is survived by: her husband, Eugene Teichelman of Sagerton; one daughter, Joy Cook and husband, Tommy of Houston; sons, Tommy Nierdieck of
College Station and Roy Nierdieck of Houston; daughter, Melissa
Greenwood and husband,
Dickie of Abilene; stepsons, Larry Teichelman and wife, Sara of Abilene and Billy Teichelman and wife, Kellye of Stamford; brothers, Alvin Bredthauer of Bartlesville,
Oklahoma and Walter Bredthauer and wife, Alene of Haskell; one sister, Irene
Bortz and husband, Awalk of Houston; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
In addition to Herbert, she was preceded in death by her brothers Alfred Bredthauer and Ernest Bredthauer, one sister Lenora Kokomore and stepdaughter Terri
Hubbard.
The family requests that memorials be made to
Faith Lutheran Church - 2308 Hwy. 283 Sagerton,
Texas 79547.
