Ishmael A. “Ish” Cain 94, of Hot Springs,AR died Sunday April 06, 2008. Ish was born June 05, 1913 to the late William Henry & Bessie (Gillham) Cain in Garland Co. AR. He was preceded in death by his great grandson, Ty McAnally. Ish was a member of Hot Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. Ish was the retired owner/operator of Cain’s Drug Store. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Oldean Housley Cain, sisters, Pauline Volentine of Hot Springs, & Ruanah Tuberville of Little Rock; granddaughter, Mary McAnally Vitro & her husband Jon Vitro of Hot Springs, 2 great granddaughters Darby & Dru Vitro of Hot Springs; nephew, T.J. & wife Mavis Housley of Little Rock; niece, Roseann Schaub of Albuquerque, N.M., and several other nieces, nephews & cousins. The service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Hot Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Taylor & Rev. Manley Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill Kagle, James Colwell, Mike Karber, Steve Walker, Carter McCaslin and Tim Hassel. Honorary pallbearers are Jon Vitro, Dan Cain, Johnny Overby, Jim Latture, A.D. Stroope, Calvin Roach, Randy Outler, Dr. John Bond, Staff of St. Joseph 5th floor Hospice & Members of Jim Alford Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to the Hot Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
