Sophie Lubiniski, 82, formerly of Irwin, a resident of HIS of Mt. View in Greensburg, died July 9, 2003. Born Dec. 4, 1920, in Erie, raised in Trafford, she was the daughter of Theodore and Mary (Burka) Fedoronko. Mrs. Lubiniski was a retired employee of McKeesport Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting, bingo, cooking and polka music.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lubiniski; grandson, Michael Earl Pletcher; son-in-law, Richard Rambler Sr.; sister, Mildred Turk; and brothers Theodore, George and Harry Fedoronko.Surviving are her daughters, Frances Rambler of Irwin and Alice Pletcher and her husband, James, of Ruffsdale; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Madjercic and Helen Williams.Friends were received at Joseph F. Ott Funeral Home. Interment was at Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park.
