Betty L. McElroy Green, 75, of Arona died March 6, 2003, at Mercy Jeannette Hospital.Born May 24, 1927, in North Huntingdon, she was the daughter of Irvin and Anna Pletcher. Mrs. Green was a member of Manor Presbyterian Church, Arona Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered at Mercy Jeannette Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Green.
Surviving are her sons, Douglas of Hagerstown, Md., Donald of West Newton and Dennis Green of North Huntingdon; and three grandchildren. Friends were received at William Snyder Funeral Home. Interment was at Long Run Cemetery.
