KIMBALL TWP. -- Faye Weston, 83, of Kimball Township died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, in Mercy Hospital after a short illness. She was born March 23, 1918, in Melvin, the daughter of the late Stephen and Anne Beadle. She married Bernard Weston on June 13, 1933, in Sandusky. He died Sept. 1, 1990. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. She retired from the Port Huron Area School District. She wintered in Zephyrhills, Fla. Mrs. Weston is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. William (Wanda) Simpson of Clyde Township, Mrs. Richard (Shirley) LaGruth of Owosso, Mrs. William (Noreen) Wolvin of Fort Gratiot and Mrs. Frank (Janice) Golembrosky of Newark, Del.; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen (Kathy) Weston of North Platte, Neb.; eight granddaughters, Stephanie (Simpson) Reynolds of Fort Gratoit, Cheryl (Simpson) DeGrow of Port Huron, Michele ("Mickie" Simpson) Clark of Fort Gratiot, Krystal (LaGruth) Nolan of Owosso, Karis (LaGruth) Geistfeld of Ohio, Janelle (LaGruth) Birsching of Vassar, Renee (Merrithew) Stocker of Marysville, and Cathy Wolvin of Burtchville Township; three grandsons, Kevin Merrithew of Maryland, Kurt Golembrosky of Newark, Del. and Mark Wolvin of Fort Gratiot; six great grandaughters, Katie Reynolds, Allison and Kelsie DeGrow, Emily Geistfeld, and Taylor and Jamie Anglin; 10 great grandsons, Daniel and Jeffrey Reynolds, Stephen DeGrow, Benjamin Nolan, Tyler and Derek Golembrosky, Kent and Jacob Clark, Jesse Birsching and Evan Geistfeld; sister, Gladys Schurr of Clarkston; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, Leland and Vernell Beadle. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Martin Lutheran Church, 805 Chestnut St. The Rev. Phyllis I. Hormann, pastor of St. Martin Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visiting hours are 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., at 17th Street, and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kevin Merrithew, Daniel Reynolds, Jeffrey Reynolds, Mark Wolvin and Kurt Golembrosky, and brother-in-law, Max Weston. Honorary pallbearers will be her great grandsons, Daniel Reynolds, Stephen DeGrow and Benjamin Nolan. Memorials may be made to St. Martin Lutheran Church.
