Jeanette Locklear, 45, of 99 Polo Road, died Oct. 2, 2006, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at Revels Funeral Home Chapel in Lumberton, the Revs. Mickey Lowery and Roosevelt Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Lumbee Gardens.
Locklear was born in Robeson County NC on Feb. 19, 1961.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas P. Locklear; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Luevaner Scott; and paternal grandparents, Louvita Gibbs and Apel Gibbs.
Surviving are a daughter, Amanda Locklear of Lumberton; a son, Steven Carl Locklear of Lumberton; her mother, Roberta Scott Locklear of St. Pauls; four sisters, Louise Locklear and her husband, the Rev. Ronald N. Locklear, and Rose Locklear and her husband, the Rev. Ronnie Ray Locklear, all of Lumberton, Erline Locklear of Parkton and Betty Lois Locklear of St. Pauls; four brothers, Lt. Tommy Ray Locklear, U.S. Navy, and his wife, Wanda Fay Locklear, of Sasebo, Japan, the Rev. Donnie Lee Locklear and his wife, Sharon Locklear, of Maxton, Mark Locklear and his fiancé, Crystal Slater, of Lumberton, and Ronnie Locklear of Lumberton; a special nephew, Anthony Locklear of Lumberton; a special friend, Gregory Gearld of Lumberton; a special aunt, Cathy S. Lowry of Lumberton; and a special cousin, Elbert Locklear of Hope Mills.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
