I never met Mr. Laurent, as I was only a newborn baby when he operated on me. My parents kept my defect from me for most of my life, and now (age 25), I'm only starting to learn what an important role this man played in my life. Mr. Laurent happened to be visiting my hospital when he felt my head and determined I didn't have a soft-spot (Craniosynostosis). Without this luck encounter, my life could have been much different.

Please accept my condolences and god bless your family.
