Harvey, Billy Joe age 65 of Clinton,TENNESSEE previously of Loudon,TENNESSEE passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. Bill was a faithful member and Deacon of Solid Rock Baptist Church of Powell TN. Bill played the guitar and he and his wife, Jerry, were longtime Gospel Singers with the Harvey’s. He was a truck driver for 36 years and retired from Averitt Express. He was a member of Avery Masonic Lodge #593 F & AM and the Order of Eastern Star #188. He was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Minnie Jo Harvey; grandparents, Sam and Addie McNabb all of Loudon. Survived by wife of 47 years, Jerline (Jerry) Smith Harvey; three daughters: Connie Clabough and husband, Steve of Knoxville, Jo Campbell and husband, Jim of Maynardville, Sherry Nelson and husband, Greg of Clinton; six grandchildren: Michelle, Abby, Tony, Jill, Dustin, and Wesley; one great grandchild, Tyler; two brothers, Sam Harvey and wife, Eva, Tommy Harvey and wife, Donna all of Lenoir City; three sisters: Maxine Bunch and husband Coy of Loudon, Phyllis Anne Dennis and husband, Jerry of MS, Nancy Stephens and husband, Doug of Murfreesboro; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many dear friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Thursday with funeral services to follow at 8 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel. A masonic services will follow conducted by the Avery Masonic Lodge. Rev. Mike Parsley, Rev. Kenny Bridges, Rev. Kenneth Johnson and Rev. Mark Large will officiate. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Friday at Click Funeral Home and proceed to Cave Creek Cemetery for graveside services at 11 a.m. Military honors will be conferred by the East Tn. Veterans Honor Guard. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is serving the family of Billy Joe Harvey.
