Brianna Lynn Blackmore, age 22 of Bastrop,Teaxs passed away peacefully Feb. 28, 2009 after suffering multiple lifelong health problems. Brianna came into this world bent and twisted but she brought with her a pure heart and loving soul. Despite her physical and mental disabilities, she somehow endured the constant day to day pain and refused to let it get in the way of enjoying life. Brianna spent her entire life teaching those around her about themselves about unconditional love, how to enjoy the small things in life, and how to just enjoy life itself. Brianna had a very contagious smile and laughs that once you heard it you could not help but laugh too. She loved taking walks, riding in the car, music, milkshakes, (over 3000 in her life) and listening to others having fun but, most of all, she loved to sit and snuggle and be read to by her daddy. Brianna was truly an angel sent from Heaven to do God's work. She erased prejudices, united families, created new friendships, but most importantly she taught a boy how to be a man and an old man how to be childlike. As Nietzsche said of Socrates also holds true of Brianna, "...genius of the heart...whose voices voice knows how to descend into the depths of every soul...who teaches one to listen, who smoothes rough souls and lets them taste a new yearning...who divines the hidden and forgotten treasure, the drop of goodness...from whose touch everyone goes away richer, not having found grace nor amazed, not as blessed and oppressed by the good of another, but richer in himself, opened...less sure perhaps...but full of hopes that as yet have no name." Brianna is survived by her dad, George L. Blackmore of Bastrop; uncles, John Blackmore of Round Rock, Terry Blackmore, wife Angie of Hutto, Mike and wife Sharon of San Antonio, Wayne Blackmore of Chicago, IL and aunt Judith Pariseau of Austin. Brianna is also survived by her adopted mom and dad, Kim and Cary LeBlanc of Round Rock, Lacie and Trey Hitchcock of Bastrop, and adopted uncle Lnc. Cpl. Brandon LeBlanc USMC. Brianna's dad would like to thank everyone at Brackenridge Children's Hospital, Dell Children's Hospital, Seton and St. David's for their care.
