V. MAURINE “RENIE” LOUGHMILLER, 74, of Paris,Texas died Wednesday January 23, 2008 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday January 26, 2008 in the chapel of Starrett Funeral Home with Dr. Rusty Hedges and her son Douglas Loughmiller officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Renie was born April 27, 1933 in Paoli, Indiana, a daughter of Kermit and Verba Martin Lindley. She was a proud graduate of the Class of 1951 of Paoli High School, and enjoyed returning home throughout the years to attend her class reunions. Renie was a homemaker, and a member of First Christian Church. An avid golfer, she was a member and past-president of the Ladies Golf Association of Paris Golf & Country Club. For many years she enjoyed volunteering with the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Joseph’s Hospital.

On May 9, 1954 she married Robert “Bob” Alden Loughmiller in New Albany, Indiana. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1998.

Renie is survived by three sons, Doug Loughmiller and wife Danielle, of McKinney, Deane Loughmiller, of Paris and Dale Loughmiller and wife Melanie, of Paris; a very special granddaughter, Lindley Elizabeth Loughmiller; two brothers, Greg Lindley, of Clarksville, IN and Ralph Lindley, of Mitchell, IN; and one sister, Phyllis Freeman, of French Lick, IN.

Named as pallbearers are Dr. Ted McLemore, Allen Williams, Joel Mashburn, Robert Smith, Paul Wells, Dustin Cook, Kenny Daus, and Ed Ellis.
