YOUNGSTOWN – There will be funeral services at noon on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, followed by a 1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church for Betty who passed away Monday evening, Dec. 3, 2012.
Betty was born Nov. 12, 1919, in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of John and Anna (Straun) Zenchienko.
She attended Wilson High School. Betty was employed at Woodside Receiving Hospital’s laundry department for 15 years.
She enjoyed yardwork, baking and cooking for her family and grandchildren. Betty loved the holidays and spending time at home on Sundays with her family.
Betty’s husband, Louis D. DeVicchio, whom she married Nov. 12, 1940, passed away March 25, 1980.
Betty will always be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Louis (Tina) DeVicchio of Poland, Ohio, Robert (Karen) DeVicchio of Poland and James (Sandy) DeVicchio of North Lima, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Robert (Pam) DeVicchio, Toni (Dave) Ruggles, Atty. Mark (Kim) DeVicchio, Tracey (Ed) Marshall, Maria (Atty. Vince) Morgione, Anthony (Mary) DeVicchio, Tina (Rick) Osman and Atty. Matt DeVicchio; and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
