CANFIELD – Patrick entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., about four and a half years after a brave battle with lung cancer.

Patrick was born April 26, 1952, in Youngstown, Ohio (Mahoning County) the son of Patsy and Elizabeth (Baudile) Del Bene.

He was a 1970 graduate of Chaney High School and graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelors in Science and Applied Science Degree.

He worked for Sharon Steel and J&L Specialty in Louisville, Ohio as a computer programmer and analyst.

Patrick enjoyed fishing and bowling in his younger years and always enjoyed decorating for Christmas and celebrating it with his family. His love of Christmas lead to a Santa Claus and Dickens collection.

He also loved music, especially the Beatles.

Patrick is survived by his parents; his sister, Denise (John) Butler; his nieces, Natalie and Lindsey Welsh; an uncle, John Del Bene; aunts, Jennie Bart, Margaret Lattanzi, Helen Latronica, Nancy Ponzio, and Theresa Baudile; his many cousins; and his beloved dog, Chopper.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; many aunts; and two cousins.

A prayer service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

An hour of calling will be held one hour before at the Schiavone Funeral Home in Youngstown, Ohio.
